Dominique Kohl, M.A., M.Ed., Licensed Professional School Counselor

Upside Down Paper Crown was created in the classroom for the single mindset of helping students become stronger not just within the walls of the classroom, but in their own lives as well. By connecting the mind, body, and spirit, a student becomes more in-tuned to not with their role as a learner. Research has shown that a student’s body will have a physical response to new information before the mind begins to process it.  If we provide a student with the tools and techniques to use as their inner power or crowns, then their sense of self-worth and self-efficacy increases.

The founder, Dominique Kohl, saw a need to connect not just how the information is processed, but the students’ emotional response to it.
